Woodpecker is the manufacturer, offering four brands: Woodpecker®, DTE®, DBA®, and RTA®.
Please note that different brand tips are not interchangeable:
- Woodpecker tips are compatible with Woodpecker, EMS, and Mectron scalers only.
- DTE tips are compatible with DTE, NSK, and Satelec scalers only.
Woodpecker and DTE tips are not compatible with each other.
To distinguish between them:
- Models without "D" (e.g., P1) are for Woodpecker, EMS, and Mectron scalers.
- Models with "D" (e.g., PD1) are for DTE, NSK, and Satelec scalers.

P42/PD42
Used for implant maintence. It can be installed to PD40 adapter to realize the cleaning and maintence of implant.
Size: Plastic head is of 19mm length
The tip is of a slender hook shape, making it easier for subgingival cleaning and maintence
Recommended Power Level for P mode:
D600, D600 LED @ 1-5; S6 S6 LED @ 1-9
Note:
1, The plastic part is made of Peek material which can be disinfected under high temperature and high pressure, the higher the power, the easier it is to wear;
2, Avoid the tip stuck in the gap of the tooth during operation to avoid breaking the tip.
